However, before you proceed to buy the warranty, let us brief you about the six levels of warranty coverage that will help you to make an informed decision.

Gold Standard Warranty coverage plans

Gold Standard Automotive Network has divided its warranties into two categories, i.e., powertrain warranty and exclusionary warranty, which is also known as a bumper-to-bumper warranty.

First, we will brief you about the powertrain warranty. We will also mention which components of your car it will cover. Later we will discuss exclusionary warranty coverage.

Powertrain coverage by Gold Standard Warranty

The powertrain warranty is divided into 3 levels. The first one is basic, the 10K offers you additional coverage and the 10K Plus plan offers the most comprehensive powertrain coverage.

Basic powertrain

This warranty covers you up to four months or 4000 miles, whichever comes first. The coverage includes transmission, fuel tank, drive axle assembly, turbo or supercharger, engine, and engine cooling system.

However, if you sign the contract for the initial plan for either 3 years or 7 years, you will get coverage for additional components including air conditioning system, fuel delivery system, electrical system, and gaskets.

Powertrain 10K plan

If you sign an annual contract for this plan, you will get the coverage for transmission, air-conditioning system, electrical system, brakes, suspension, and steering. Other than these, it will cover all the components of the basic powertrain warranty as well. It will also include a car rental reimbursement of $35 for five days once you make a claim.

Powertrain 10K Plus plan

This Hi-line package includes all the components of the basic plan and 10K plan along with three oil and filter changes, cooling system maintenance, brake pad replacement, and wiper blade replacement. Moreover, you will get the rental reimbursement as well.

Bumper-to-bumper warranty coverage by Gold Standard Warranty

Just like the powertrain warranty, the bumper-to-bumper warranty is also divided into three levels: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. All the 3 levels include rental reimbursement of $35 for five days.

Bronze plan for bumper-to-bumper warranty

This is the most basic plan for bumper-to-bumper warranty and it provides coverage for engine, drive axle, seals and gaskets, suspension, electrical components, cruise control switches, fuel system, actuator, brakes, steering, air-conditioning system, transmission, turbo/supercharger, and engine cooling system.

Silver plan for bumper-to-bumper warranty

Other than all the parts covered in the Bronze Plan, the Silver Plan offers coverage for additional parts, including cooling system, seals and gaskets, fuel, electrical system, and brakes.

Gold bumper-to-bumper warranty plan

This plan provides the highest level of coverage because it includes all the factory-installed components, along with electrical and mechanical parts of the car. However, some of the parts, which are not included in this warranty plan will be listed in the contract.

When you choose these plans, you have the option to go for add-on coverage as well, which will ensure you are fully covered.

The add-on coverage plans are as follows:

ETCH protection

This plan provides security for your vehicle. In case if your vehicle is stolen, and not recovered within 30 days, you are entitled to get a claim ranging from $2500-$7500, depending on the level of coverage you have opted for.

Tire and wheel warranty plan

This warranty plan includes replacement of tires, rim repair, mounting, balancing, valve stems, chrome, and cosmetic wheel coverage (optional), and labor costs for maintenance and service.

The KeyPlus+ coverage

This warranty coverage includes key fob replacement, windshield repair, and dent restoration for scratches, dings, and minor dents.
